2025: Launch of sales of devices intended for corporate customers, through retail networks
On February 25, 2025, Ricore Group of Companies announced the start of sales of its devices intended for corporate customers through retail chains. The first 3,000 laptops are already available on sites such as KNS, NDC (A1TIS Distribution), DNS, X-Com and Tsenalom. The company plans to sell at least 30,000 devices in retail by June 2025.
At the start, three lines of laptops in various configurations are presented in retail chains:
- RIKOR ARZ is the most affordable model for basic office tasks and surfing the Internet. At the same time, it is equipped with modern processors, which allows you to use the computer with comfort and without "slowing down."
- RIKOR NINO is a model focused on educational needs. Equipped with fast processors and a wide range of ports for connecting additional devices, displays and projectors;
- RIKOR SPB is a reliable and productive device with a metal case and high battery life, designed for most office employees: managers, lawyers, financiers, etc.
Access to retail chains is especially important for corporate customers, as it provides new opportunities for purchasing equipment. Now companies will be able to purchase devices without long tender procedures, quickly replenish the fleet of equipment, as well as test new models in small volumes before large-scale purchases. This greatly simplifies the process of adapting and implementing new technology solutions into the business environment.
Entering retail chains is an important step for our company. We are committed to significantly improving the availability of our devices to both corporate customers and wider audiences. I am sure that now even more users will be able to appreciate that Russian laptops manufactured on our fully robotic lines can meet the performance, security and quality of the products of the best world brands, while remaining affordable, "said Andrei Frolikov, director of the retail sales channel" Ricore. We are confident that this cooperation will allow KNS buyers to order and receive Ricore solutions, including those included register of radio-electronic products Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Russian Federation, at a competitive price, "commented Mikhail Yaroshevsky, KNS Development Director. |
In the near future, Ricore plans to expand the range by adding mini-PCs, all-in-ones and monitors to the sale to offer users a full range of high-tech solutions.
2024: Preparing for Consumer Laptop Sales
At the end of April 2024, it became known about the entry of the Russian company Rikor electronics into the consumer laptop market. A new brand is being created for this project, sales are planned on marketplaces and in chain stores.
A source in one of the electronics companies told Vedomosti that Ricore will sell consumer laptops. The "Rikor electronics" itself confirmed the plans to the publication and said the following: "Yes, we are working on a line of laptops for retail."
Vice President for Commerce "Rikor electronics" Sergey Kupriyanov, in a conversation with the newspaper, clarified that the start of sales of portable computers for consumers is scheduled for the end of 2024.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, "Ricore" divided the conveyor and made a separate line for its devices. The contract production was separated into a separate organizational structure so that they did not intersect, the informant explained, noting that large volumes of products should not be expected.
By the end of April 2024, Ricore produces laptops, tablets, monitors and other electronics for corporate customers under the Rikor brand. The company's products are included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Production facilities are located in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
To enter the consumer segment, several million dollars are needed, said a representative of the IT holding Fplus. Although Rikor electronics already have its own production line, so investments may not be so high, objected Oleg Epishin, sales director of Inferit. According to him, Ricore may release laptops that will not be very different from commercial ones. For example, instead of a matte screen, make glossy, change colors, remove corporate options like Kensington lock, Epishin explains.[1]
