2024: Introduction of a national-level cybersecurity platform
On April 25, 2024, Solar Group presented a comprehensive solution - the "National Level Cybersecurity Platform," the creation of which will use the products of Solar Group and partners. The decision was familiarized with the delegation of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, headed by the Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, as well as the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov.
The "National Level Cybersecurity Platform" is a comprehensive solution designed for public authorities, organizations with a critical information structure, and socially significant facilities. It protects ICT from cyberattacks related to political, terrorist, economic and criminal targets.
The Platform is based on Russian technologies. Solar Group is represented by Threat Intelligence products, solutions for the protection of communication channels and communications, ValScan, HoneyPot, Cybermere software. Technologies are supplemented by an extensive knowledge base on all types of modern cyber threats, as well as well-built cybersecurity processes that have proven their effectiveness. The platform for April 2024 includes eight components, which are a full-fledged information security ecosystem from the creation of a secure network and an early detection system for cyber attacks to a cyber police, on which you can train specialists in relevant practical skills to protect against cyber attacks. Among them are Gov-SOC, Gov-Anti-DDoS, Gov-VPN, etc.
The high level of competence of Russian specialists, which allows creating such complex solutions, is due to the high level of cyber threats that the country has faced over the past two years. In 2023, the number of information security incidents increased by 64%. The number of Russian companies facing DDoS grew by 40%, and the longest attack lasted 278 days.
As part of the implementation of the Platform, the transfer of technologies in the field of cybersecurity is carried out, an infrastructure is being created to provide it, highly qualified specialists are being trained, including by developing and launching specialized training programs in local educational institutions, as well as further technical and expert support for the entire range of solutions.
