2024: Equipping the passenger ship "Inia"

Sitronics KT equipped the Inia passenger vessel developed by NIPTB Onega. Sitronics announced this on May 7, 2024.

Radio navigation equipment, as well as the vessel equipment control and control system (SCUTS), are supplied and installed on the river passenger ship of the project 04860.1 "Inia" for the Pskov region.

"Inia" is a river bus designed for short-term transportation of up to 54 passengers. Vessel class -  R1,2 A of the Russian Classification Society. It has a draft of 0.5 m and an overall length of 24.8 m. The height of the side amidships is 1.4 m, which allows it to be used not only in river and canal conditions, but also on lakes and reservoirs. The design speed of the vessel at full load is 30 km/h. The crew consists of two people. The vessel was built in the Kaliningrad region at Ushakovsky Shipyards LLC according to a project developed by the Onega Research Design and Technological Bureau (part of USC).

As part of the contract with NIPTB Onega, the developer of science-intensive solutions Sitronics KT (part of the Sitronics Group) at Inia, a comprehensive supply of ship control panels, radio navigation equipment, intra-ship communications, video surveillance system and fire alarm systems, as well as equipment control and control systems (SCATS) was made.

The development and testing of algorithms for the operation of SKUTS was carried out in close cooperation with Sitronics KT partner, Valkom LLC.

For the vessel of the Inia project, our company supplied a whole range of navigation equipment. One of the tasks in the design of the vessel was to ensure a high level of Russian components. All the delivered equipment was successfully installed on the ship, commissioning work was carried out efficiently and in full, - said Andrey Rodionov, General Director of Sitronics KT .

The Inia project is being implemented at the initiative of the leadership of the Pskov region as part of a program to organize river passenger transportation and excursion routes on the Velikaya River.
