Inline Technologies constructed new IT infrastructure for Russian Technologies

The Inline Technologies company announced project completion on creation of IT infrastructure and migration of an information system based on physical servers on infrastructure, newly created on the basis of technology of virtualization, in State Corporation " Russian Technologies ".

Within the project two hardware and software systems, one of which is expected service about 500 employees, another – more than 300 employees are created, says Inline Technologies. Information infrastructure of Russian Technologies State Corporation includes the system of virtualization of computing resources, storage system and data processings, a backup system and data recovery.

The system of virtualization of computing resources unrolled on two virtual farms is constructed on the basis of software of VMware, allowing to configure and upgrade flexibly in real time the virtual platform at which services work. Given software it is set on more than 50 server edges of HP. The centralized administration and monitoring of a system of virtualization is made using servers of management of virtual infrastructure of VMware vCenter.

The storage system and data processings is created based on a blade servers of HP company on the Intel platform and EMC Clariion disk arrays. Components of a system are installed on two territorially spaced platforms, at the same time hardware replication of data on the iSCSI protocol through VPN network is implemented.

The backup system and data recovery is constructed on EMC NetWorker software. The Segmentirovannost of IT infrastructure of Russian Technologies State Corporation caused creation of two independent complexes of backup, each of which services the pool of servers, has the server of backup and uses the tape library for data storage of backup copies.

Specialists of Inline Technologies began project implementation with conducting preliminary survey of the information system existing at the customer and drawing up the detailed scheduled plan of execution of works. Then the full stroke of design, including stages of engineering design, working documentation, commissioning was spent.

In Inline Technologies laboratory engineers of the company created the model of future system for working off and a capability check of migration in real time. Works on migration were carried out in close cooperation with specialists of Management of information technologies of Russian Technologies State Corporation that allowed not to allow failures and idle times in functioning of an information system.

So, now we implement an electronic document management system on the EMC Documentum platform and in the short term we plan implementation of an information and analytical system of monitoring of productive, financial and operational activity of corporation". According to him, use of technology of virtualization of computing resources allowed to cut down considerably IT infrastructure maintenance expenses, first of all due to more effective use of the existing resources.
