Customers: Chusovskaya Metallurgical Plant (ChMZ)

Contractors: 1C-Rarus
Product: 1C: Transportation Logistics, Expediting and Motor Vehicle Management Corp

Project date: 2023/01  - 2023/06

2024: Result of implementation "1C: Transport logistics, forwarding and vehicle management KORP "

1C-Rarus"" completed the first phase of implementation "1C: Transportation Logistics, Expediting and Vehicle Management KORP " on. Chusovsky plant Joint Metallurgical Company Control of work transport is carried out online, the indicators of consumption for maintenance and fuel, processes are optimized, the Human Resources Management level of safety during the operation of vehicles is increased. Work is underway to scale the system to the rest of the OMK enterprises. This was announced 1C-Rarus by "" on May 20, 2024.

The 1C Rarus project team was tasked with creating a circulation solution suitable for all OMK business units on the basis of the Chusov plant.

The software product "1C: Transport Logistics, Forwarding and Vehicle Management KORP" was the most suitable for the implementation of the tasks. The project lasted from January to June 2023. After the successful launch of the pilot project, the circulation solution began to be introduced at the Vyksa plant OMK, a manufacturer of steel welded pipes and railway wheels. Each enterprise has its own features, the 1C Rarus team for May 2024 is working to adapt the solution to the plant processes. For example, it is planned to implement a service for ordering transport in the "corporate taxi" mode for employees of the Vyksa plant, including those living in neighboring settlements. Further adaptation is planned for all business units of the United Metallurgical Company.

Project results:

  • For 9 months since the transition of the system into commercial operation, we actually reached the planned savings indicators at the Chusovsky plant OMK:
    • Decrease by 30% during the reporting period of overtime work (re-working of drivers).
    • Decrease of 15% during the reporting period of fuel consumption due to elimination of errors/errors of manual planning.
    • Decrease by 15% during the reporting period of wear of spare parts due to an increase in the quality of planning and control over the work of drivers.
    • Lower maintenance costs by optimizing average daily production due to improved planning quality.

  • Time for operational operation of motor transport workshops has been optimized. Reduced labor costs for reporting.
  • Functionality has been developed to control and reduce changes in drivers, now they make up no more than 5% of the situation at the start of implementation.
  • The operation of the transport is monitored online.
  • The functionality of working with waybills for each category of drivers has been introduced.
  • An analysis of the profitability of the transport is carried out on the basis of accurate and up-to-date data obtained from the implemented system.
  • Optimization of intercom movements has occurred. Reduced "idle" runs and downtime of vehicles.
  • Integration data streams were set up with external satellite monitoring systems, a service for checking and paying fines, a processing center, kiosks for issuing and accepting waybills, etc.
  • Analytical and operational reporting has been implemented for more efficient management.

{{quote 'author = said Vasily Petrovich Prikazchikov, Director, Logistics, Chusov Plant, OMK. | The functionality of the system almost completely closed our needs and made it possible to do with a minimum of improvements, which had a positive effect on the timing and budget of the project, as well as subsequent support and total cost of ownership of the system. Thanks to the joint work of our project teams, we managed to systematize all applications for transport from divisions, optimize fuel burn-outs, solve a difficult issue with the processing of drivers, bring the drivers' work schedule in line with the legislation of the Russian Federation, implement the necessary integrations with other systems and services, taking into account the future development of the system and plans for the development of business processes of the enterprise. Now we keep a regulated record of consumables and spare parts in the system, accounting for vehicle repairs, procurement procedures for fuel and lubricants and spare parts have been systematized on the basis of accounting data, stocks have been optimized. The Chusovskaya OMK plant has become more efficient in providing vehicle repair services to third parties. The project brought economic and qualitative effects in the volumes predicted at the start,
