2024: Accounting Automation with 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2
On May 20, 2024, 1C:April Soft announced that Promis had automated accounting using 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.
As reported, Promis JSC is a supplier of an integrated solution in the field of organizing an effective supply chain for packaging materials, technologies, services for drug manufacturers and cosmetics. For more than 29 years, PROMIS JSC has been producing packaging for medicines, cosmetics and other products that keep the goods unchanged for the consumer. In addition, the company is a supplier of comprehensive solutions for the pharmaceutical industry: it manufactures automated packaging complexes using robotics for laying drugs in corrugated boxes and IT solutions for labeling drugs using 2D code.
In 2017, it was decided to switch to an updated accounting system that would combine all business processes of the enterprise. To manage the business, the enterprise used several accounting systems based on "1C," accounting was scattered. The next round of information space development in the company began with the introduction of "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 8" - to manage regulatory reference information, combine accounting, tax and warehouse accounting in one system. This was important as to maintain the current condition, and for further development.
To automate accounting in the enterprise, it was decided to use "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2," since it combines all business processes existing in the enterprise in a single framework. The reason for the transition to the updated system was the need to obtain operational management information for the management of the enterprise to make effective and timely decisions.
The updated automation system faces the following tasks:
- Switch to an updated accounting system with the ability to preserve the functionality of the system used.
- Obtaining a system supporting changes in the legislation of the Russian Federation.
- Get a more user-friendly and flexible system by using managed forms.
- Reduce non-targeted human resources expenditure by automating processes where problems are identified.
The choice was also due to the fact that the enterprise uses a set of systems for the purposes of managerial, regulated and personnel accounting, and it was necessary to combine everything into a common information space. The product is a comprehensive application solution that covers the main management and accounting circuits at the production enterprise, which allows you to organize a comprehensive information system that complies with corporate, Russian and international standards and ensures the financial and economic activities of the enterprise.
Important factors were that:
- This product allows you to create a single comprehensive system that provides storage in a single place of information entered by various services of the company.
- Use a thin client that allows you to project accounting on tablets and smartphones.
- Possibility of operational production management.
After an express survey conducted by 1C: April Soft in 2019, a project was initiated to implement 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2.
In 2021, by the forces of its IT staff, all operations previously accounted for in "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8," transferred to "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2," in 2023 the transfer of the Personnel and Salary units was carried out (debugging was performed settings and trial calculation on a copy of the database, transfer to the working database of the NSI and personnel accounting documents).
To achieve the set goals, the following was completed:

- Installs the selected system.
- Consulting on current issues.
- A contract for technical support of the system has been drawn up.
- Adapting the software product to the needs of the company.

The system was put into operation from 2023. 250 workplaces are automated. Accounts of settlements with buyers are recorded in real time, which allows you to quickly monitor the status of receivables and reduce the period of their turnover by timely detection of overdue debts and corresponding work with buyers.
1C: April Soft helped with the correct reflection and calculation of wages and taxes from it after changing the 1C algorithms, equalized the data of previous periods. With the involvement of 1C: April Soft specialists, since January 2024, the Integration "1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2" with the Electronic trading platform for the purchase of cardboard or paper online "KolPack" has been implemented.
