2024: CyberYool Methodology Introduction

The company Innostage - an integrator, cyberarchitector and developer of services and solutions in the field of digital security - created its own CyberYool methodology to provide increased cyber protection and continuity business processes and completed its testing. The company announced this on May 22, 2024. The methodology is based on many years of experience in to import substitution ON and redesign the Innostage architecture, as well as expertise in prevention and investigation. cyber attacks The approach has been tested on the company's infrastructure and is already being used for the first external customers.

The methodology from Innostage is flexibly tailored to the needs and capabilities of the company and creates the optimal conditions for the digital sustainability of the business. CyberYool is universal and suitable for any organization, regardless of whether it forms IT and information security infrastructure from scratch or transforms the current one.

The approach allows you to achieve a high level of digital security of the company and eliminate most of the "pain" of the business associated with the low level of documentation of the IT infrastructure, as well as with the inconsistency of the actions of the IT and information security services. In particular, companies can gain a more complete understanding of their own IT and information security infrastructure, as well as the capabilities and limitations of the implemented security tools.

The CyberYool methodology implies the use of a consistent and integrated approach to achieving digital sustainability, which covers all levels and areas of information security. In addition, it focuses on the effective use of existing security tools and mechanisms and considers the introduction of new solutions only as an additional measure to increase the cyber resistance of IT and information security infrastructure.

{{quote "Against the background of digital transformation and large-scale cyber attacks in the IT industry, a request was formed to ensure continuity and maximum sustainability of business processes. Each company, striving to achieve this, focuses on its ideas about the mechanisms for achieving the goal. But in the absence of a unified approach, chaos arises that can and should be transformed into a sustainable and secure digital environment. Based on its own research and customer experience, Innostage has developed a methodology that not only takes into account current IT challenges, but also flexibly adapts protective measures to the specific needs of the organization and the changing landscape of cyber threats. It helps synchronize the tasks of IT and information security areas, effectively protect IT assets, minimize risks and increase the level of trust in information security, - said Anton Kuzmin, technical director of Innostage. }}

The methodology also enables businesses to obtain threat response scenarios, instructions for effectively responding to incidents and keeping systems up and running, and a detailed roadmap based on Innostage's best practices and rich digital sustainability expertise.

CyberYool consists of five main stages, each of which includes a number of technological processes and procedures.

The first stage is to assess the current level of protection of the company by studying the architecture of its IT and information security infrastructure, analyzing the features and risks of the business.

The second stage is the creation of prototypes of the target configuration of the architecture of the IT infrastructure and its segments.

The third stage is the transformation of information security processes and the introduction of protective measures.

The fourth stage is the training and training of employees with the help of mentors, educational platforms and training centers. To implement this step, Innostage, in particular, offers businesses to take advantage of the capabilities of its cyber academy and cyber police.

The fifth stage is an independent assessment of the level of cyber resistance, which was achieved thanks to the methodology. To conduct it, Innostage recommends that businesses check the limits of digital security by any acceptable means: conduct penetration tests, launch programs bug bounty or organize open cyber tests on the BB platform with the involvement of leading experts and researchers in the field. cyber security

As of May 22, 2024, Innostage was in the final fifth stage of implementing the methodology. The stage ended on May 26, 2024 with the release of open cyber tests.
