2024: Introduction of Mos.Track and Mos.Wiki services
DIT of Moscow opened access to developers to two services of the Mos.Tech technology platform. The organization announced this on May 21, 2024.
In the next few years, the city plans to fully switch to its own joint software development solutions. This will speed up the creation of new useful products.
Opened access to two components - services for managing Mos.Track IT projects and working with Mos.Wiki documentation.
The creation of online services and other IT products is not just code writing, but complex teamwork that requires the coordination of a large number of participants. Mos.Track and Mos.Wiki services allow you to manage IT projects and tasks within them, as well as work together with the documentation necessary to create digital solutions. They complement the Mos.Hub cloud platform and thus form a unified environment for secure development and project management for Russian IT teams. All functions of these services are free, and anyone can work with them, "said Alexei Anisimov, Deputy Head of the Moscow Information Technology Department. |
The Mos.Track service includes all the basic tools necessary to manage IT projects and tasks, including supporting flexible development methodologies. This allows project team members to always be aware of the current tasks and status of their execution, as well as see a complete picture of the progress of work.
Using the service, you can create tasks of different types and assign additional attributes to them: performers, start and end dates, tags, priorities and related tasks. As in other services, tasks can be grouped into sprints, visualization Scrum and boards and Kanban can be used for visual purposes. In addition, Mos.Track allows you to generate various reports, configure access rights within a separate project and receive notifications about changes. In the future, the service will be supplemented with new useful functions that will make work even more convenient.
The Mos.Wiki service allows you to work together with documents that are necessary for software development: technical descriptions and tasks, diagrams, functional requirements, knowledge bases and others.
With Mos.Wiki, you can create private partitions with documents that will be available only to users included in the command. For the convenience of documentation maintenance, the page hierarchy is implemented in the form of a tree structure. In addition, the service allows you to work with tables, select text content in the form of headers or quotes, and also insert source code blocks while preserving formatting. For analysts, there is a function for working with tables, graphics boards, as well as the ability to import a Microsoft Word document.
The creation of the Mos.Hub platform, Mos.Track and Mos.Wiki services is part of a lot of work to form the capital's software ecosystem.
