2024: Product Announcement
At the end of May 2024, Xiaomi released a new smartwatch for children with two cameras called Mitu Children's Watch S1. The device went on sale at a price of 1,199 yuan (approximately $166).
The Mitu S1 children's watch features a 1.78-inch LCD screen with 448 x 368 resolution for crisp images. The watch is equipped with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory, as well as two cameras - a 5 MP front camera and an 8 MP rear camera. The watch allows you to make video calls by switching two cameras, so parents can see both the child and his environment.
The smartwatch also uses five main satellite positioning systems: GPS, Beidou, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS. They provide high-precision movement tracking for 90 days, indoor and mall positioning, AI positioning and child location tracking. According to the company, parents will be able to familiarize themselves with the movements of their children within 90 days at any time, simply by requesting the necessary data.
The watch is also equipped with an emergency call function. In addition, parents will be able to receive alerts if a child enters or leaves certain areas, such as a home, school or danger points. The watch can also mark special situations, among which a deviation from a given trajectory or a long stay in a certain zone.
The Watch S1 smartwatch also includes health monitoring features that allow you to track fatigue, stress, certain emotions, heart rate and blood oxygen levels throughout the day. In addition, the watch offers more than 100 exercise courses in 9 categories, such as running and long jump.[1]
