Softline won tender for delivery of software for the Russian federal nuclear center

The Nizhny Novgorod representative office of Softline announced signing of the contract on delivery of the software to Federal State Unitary Enterprise The Russian Federal Nuclear Center — the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics (VNIIEF) Sarov. The price of the contract exceeded 7 million rubles, says Softline company.

Reliability assurance and security of nuclear weapon of Russia was and remains the main objective of VNIIEF. Several institutes are a part of VNIIEF: theoretical and mathematical physics, experimental gas dynamics and physics of explosion, nuclear and radiation physics, laser and physical researches, scientific and technological center of physics of high densities of energy and the directed flows of radiations and also the design offices and the thematic centers integrated by the general scientific and administrative management.

The open competition on the conclusion right from VNIIEF of the delivery agreement software was held according to regulations of the civil legislation of the Russian Federation, regulations of State Atomic Energy Corporation "Rosatom", local regulations of the enterprise. According to Softline, the auction was held on the website of public procurements of Rosatom State Corporation.

The software provider was defined by the solution of commission session according to the results of assessment and comparison of requests of participants. Evaluation criteria were: agreement price, quality characteristics of goods, term of provision of guarantees for goods quality and their volume.

The price criterion and quality characteristics of goods became the decisive factors which influenced the choice of Softline by software supplier of Microsoft Office Standart, MS of the Visual Studio 2008, ABBYY Lingvo, The Bat, Intel Compiler Suite Professional Edition, VMware of 7.0 Workstation, Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.
