2024: Completion of Hybrid Cloud Development and Commissioning Project
On June 18, 2024, ITGLOBAL.COM announced the implementation of a project to develop and commission a hybrid cloud for OVISION. The final project consists of two circuits: dedicated equipment in the data center, controlled by OVISION, for storing and processing data in accordance with the law, as well as infrastructure for the initial collection and processing of OVISION customer data in a cloud with specialist service ITGLOBAL.COM.
As reported, OVISION is engaged in the production of equipment and software for access control systems in the territory. This imposes on the company a number of special requirements for the security and reliability of its infrastructure, expected by both customers and regulators.
At OVISION, we are engaged in a full development cycle, providing a ready-made ecosystem of both software and equipment for biometric face recognition. Be it access control systems for the subway, factories and business centers or contactless payment by face. told Oleg Novikov, Technical Director of OVISION |
The hybrid ITGLOBAL.COM cloud and OVISION infrastructure project is qualified according to 152-FZ and 572-FZ.
OVISION specialists developed the primary circuit architecture and purchased the equipment, coordinating this with the regulator. Then, together with the ITGLOBAL.COM, work began on the commissioning of the systems and the launch of both circuits of the hybrid system.
Since the OVISION business is tied to work with biometrics, as soon as the 572-FZ came into force, we took care of obtaining accreditation. It would simply be impossible to independently get it for the entire infrastructure, a cloud was required. ITGLOBAL.COM provided not only a cloud for us, but also flexibly took into account all our needs. noted Oleg Novikov, Technical Director of OVISION |
The law 572-FZ establishes rules for the use of biometric data, obliging companies to transfer them to the state system and delete them from their own databases. Companies wishing to use biometrics are required to undergo accreditation. The law is aimed at protecting against fraud and allows citizens to control their data through "Public services."
The implementation of the project took place in a short time, as the winter holidays and the date of certification agreed with the regulator were approaching. ITGLOBAL.COM specialists carefully monitored each stage of work, both in the protected OVISION circuit and in the public cloud ITGLOBAL.COM. The use of a hybrid model of work allowed OVISION to reduce the cost of self-purchase, configuration of equipment and software, as well as reduce the cost of passing certification.
