Delete SAP and switch to 1C

On June 26, 2024, it became known that the manufacturer of decorative interior elements Interprint Rus completed the process of switching from the SAP integrated automation system to the Russian 1C:ERP Enterprise Management 2 system. As a result of this transition, the company managed to reduce its dependence on foreign software by 90%.

It is noted that for more than 10 years Interprint Rus, which is the Russian division of the international Interprint group of companies, has used the SAP ERP system. However, this system had limited localization for the tasks of the enterprise, which created certain difficulties in work.

Delete SAP and switch to 1C

As the newspaper notes, before the start of the project to switch to the new system, Interprint Rus employees had to first collect operational data on sales, procurement and production planning in Excel, and then enter them into SAP. At the same time, any error in the data required canceling the entire document, which significantly slowed down workflows.

According to Alexei Kablov, head of the IT department of Interprint Rus LLC, the main criterion for choosing a contractor for the project was the presence of successful experience in transferring industrial production enterprises from foreign automation systems to 1C: ERP.
