A digital register of large families has been launched in Russia, which will simplify their access to state support

According to information published on the official website of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, the presence of information in the register will allow you to take into account the status of large families when providing federal and regional support measures without the need to collect additional documents.

The head of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov noted the importance of creating a reference register with carefully verified data, which will form the basis for future decisions in the field of supporting large families.

According to Anton Kotyakov, one of the key tasks of the Family Year is to form a national demographic strategy. As noted, it is necessary to create favorable conditions that contribute to the adoption by families of decisions on the birth of the first, second and subsequent children.

According to the publication, in 2024, a family and demographic policy strategy is being developed until 2030. Deputies, experts and representatives of the parent community take part in this process.

As emphasized in the material of Kazan Vedomosti, the minister emphasized that the support large families recommended by the head states should be provided in connection with the honorary status of a large family, and not because of need.[1]
