Sitronics Electro to equip modular berth in Perm with ultra-fast charging station for electric vessels

2024: Ultra Fast Charging Station Installation Plan

Sitronics Electro is upgrading berth No. 1 at the River Station in Perm, improving the power supply system and protection of power elements. The proposed design solutions will allow you to place a pontoon on which an ultra-fast charging station will be installed. Sitronics announced this on June 28, 2024.

For June 2024, the floating pontoon of berth No. 1 is equipped with a 170 kW Sitronics Electro slow charging station. The installation of an ultra-fast charging station will significantly reduce the charging time and increase the number of ship starts to the pier in the event of an expansion of the electric ship fleet. The improvement of the modular berth will expand the ship's charging infrastructure in Perm.

The installation of UBZS with a capacity of up to 900 kW will increase the number, range and frequency of water routes. According to a similar scheme, electric buses are recharged at the UBZS in the daytime. Renovation work on the pier will allow in the future to install a new station for electric ships, which will provide reliable and fast charging.
