Aeroflot, together with Sberbank, connected payment with a smile in all Russian offices of its own sales. With the help of special terminals, you can pay air tickets and any additional carrier services with biometrics. Aeroflot announced this on June 28, 2024.

The "Smile Payment" service allows you to pay for a ticket or service, even if Sberbank's client does not have a card, cash and smartphone with him. To do this, you need to choose payment with a smile on the terminal screen. The payment process takes a few seconds - just look at the camera.

Sberbank payment terminals accept payment in five ways at once: by card, payment sticker, contactless via NFC, QR code and biometrics. The basic assembly of the device uses a 2D camera with high recognition accuracy and depth capture - it allows you to read facial features in a few seconds, taking into account human growth and changes in appearance.
