2024: Implementation of Intelligent Queue Management System

On July 2, 2024, the Abak2000 company announced the introduction of an intelligent queue management system at the Volgograd Oncological Dispensary.

Increased customer satisfaction, efficient use of resources, compliance with sanitary standards and improved organizational processes - all these factors led to the need for a new queue management system. The introduction of technologies has made it possible to create more comfortable conditions for visitors, which has become an important plus in the face of growing competition and increased patient expectations.

In 2023, VOKOD management asked ABAK-2000 to develop and implement an electronic queue management system. Before the introduction of the system, patients often faced long waits in a "live" queue. Existing IT tools did not provide the necessary functionality and were outdated.

The developed queue management system is a comprehensive information and analytical platform for primary services for visitors and patients. Key features of the system:

  • Flexible self-adjustment
  • Set up scheduling and categorize people's flows
  • Evaluation of personnel performance
  • . Prompt notification of critical number of people in the queue
  • Informing about the operability of terminals through the Telegram bot

The system for July 2024 includes:

  • Queue control terminals (touch kiosks)
  • Information boards
  • Operator and senior operator AWS
  • Administrator AWS
  • Sound annunciators
  • Software for printing coupons, voice calls and alerts via Telegram bot and mobile web interface

The system provides the following capabilities:

  • Select a division at the terminal
  • Automatic printing and issuing of coupons with QR code
  • Connect multiple terminals
  • Display queue status on monitors and mobile devices
  • Inviting visitors to the specialist window with a sound alert
  • System Management and Configuration by Administrators and IT
  • Collection of analytical and statistical data, automatic generation of reports

The process of developing and implementing the system took only 4 months. From March 25, 2024, entrance to the territory of the dispensary is carried out through a single pass bureau.
