2024: Product Announcement

On July 8, 2024 Yekaterinburg , the Russian Sapphire anti-drone complex was presented in, capable of detecting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) all types, including the smallest. This development of the Concern "Radio-electronic technologies" (KRET) is designed to ensure the effective protection of important objects from unauthorized surveillance and potential attacks using. drones

According to JSC Concern Radioelectronic Technologies, the Sapphire complex is designed to protect public administration, transport infrastructure and industrial enterprises, including chemical plants, nuclear power plants and oil refineries. The system is capable of creating interference that blocks the control and data transmission channels of drones, as well as suppressing their onboard satellite radio navigation equipment.

In
Russia, the Sapphire anti-drone complex is presented, which detects even the smallest UAVs

A key feature of the Sapphire is its ability to detect and classify UAVs of major types, including artisanal vehicles. The complex works effectively both in urban conditions and near industrial facilities. The developers paid special attention to the detection capabilities of micro- and mini-UAVs weighing up to 250 grams, which often pose the greatest difficulty for detection by traditional means.

Unlike similar systems operating within fixed frequency bands, Sapphire implements the principle of "detection-direction finding-identification-radio cancellation" in the entire frequency range of operation of UAV equipment and their control points. This allows the complex to effectively counteract almost all types of drones existing today.

Representatives of KRET note that the tests carried out and real operational experience confirmed the high efficiency of the complex in protecting civilian facilities. Sapphire has already attracted the attention of potential foreign buyers - in November 2023 it was first presented on the international stage as part of the Dubai Airshow air show.[1]
