2024: Implementation of "1C: Document Flow CORP"

Specialists of "1S-KPD" automated work with documents in the "First Meat Processing Plant" (Nizhny Novgorod). The project became an integral part of the business process optimization program at the enterprise on the eve of a large-scale expansion of production. The company "1S-KPD" announced this on July 9, 2024.

With the help of the 1C: KORP Document Management system integrated with the 1C:ERP, it was possible to accelerate the coordination of contracts and other documents, the processing of client orders, the preparation of management and regulatory reporting by 20%. The cost of paperwork and storage decreased by 20%. Adapting "1C: Document Flow CORP" to industry requirements has enabled the enterprise's innovation teams to bring new products to market faster and more effectively in the face of fierce competition.

"First Meat Processing Plant" is an enterprise for the production of sausages and delicacies from natural chilled raw materials. The company entered the food market in 2012.

First Meat Processing Plant sells its products in 28 regions of Russia and plans further expansion. In the fall of 2024, the company starts the creation of an industrial site equipped with the most modern equipment. With its commissioning, production capacity will double.

The First Meat Processing Plant has been using the 1C:ERP and MES system for resource management for several years. At the same time, work with documents was not automated.

On average, the company creates up to 1000 new documents per month: contracts, memos, advance reports, documents on the introduction of a new product. Some of them were approved in paper form, some - by e-mail. This forced employees to spend a lot of time searching for originals, identifying outdated copies, comparing the documents found with requests from management, colleagues, counterparties, etc. It was difficult to control coordination: no one could ever be sure at what stage of approval the document was. There was no unified regulation on who and in what order the documents of different types are visible. It was not possible to use an electronic signature to confirm the document. All this led to a slowdown in business processes and errors in production, marketing, sales and other services, as well as increased information security risks.

Another important task for the enterprise was to support innovation. In a highly competitive environment, it is difficult to surprise the consumer, but the First Meat Processing Plant is constantly looking for new tastes and packaging options for products. Each month, the company offers from 2 to 5 new items in the assortment. However, due to difficulties in processing and coordinating documents, the process of bringing new products to market required too much time and resources.

To speed up the company's response to changes and optimize its work, it was decided to ensure a unified approach to working with documents, translate them into electronic form and automate their processing throughout the life cycle.

During the project, 100 jobs were automated in all departments of the enterprise - from accounting, commercial and marketing departments to technological service and production. The system is integrated with the 1C:ERP.

Centralized storage of all types of documents in electronic form is ensured: incoming, outgoing, orders, orders, memos, contracts, acts, protocols, etc. You have set up optimal routes for processing, agreeing, approving documents according to unified and understandable rules for employees. Now it takes 1 to 5 seconds to search for any object instead of many minutes or hours. Loss and corruption of documents, sending outdated copies to clients are excluded. Integration with 1C: Document Flow provided access to its capabilities for all users of the 1C:ERP system. The processing time for documents at the enterprise has been reduced, this has accelerated decision-making and the conclusion of contracts with customers and partners, on average, by 20%. More systematic and operational was the work with memos for the issuance of funds, advance reporting, incoming, outgoing correspondence, etc. To optimize and speed up the process of launching new products on the market, the team of implementers, at the request of the customer, created a new document in 1C: KORP Document Management, which collects all information about the new product: ingredients, recipe, production features, cost, etc. This greatly simplifies team interaction and speeds up the product development process and the start of its production.

The transition from paper to electronic document management allowed the enterprise in the first month to reduce the costs of paper, stationery, office equipment by 20%. In the future, 2 − 3 years, further translation of all types of documents will save 80% of such costs.

Our enterprise has big plans and ambitions. And my task as a leader is for each employee to realize his potential and all services work as a single organism. Without digitalization, more efficient work with data and documents, this cannot be achieved. Thanks to the 1C: KORP Document Management system, we managed to reduce operational risks, reduce the number of errors and inconsistent actions between structural units, and increased discipline. And most importantly: the acceleration of the movement of documents accelerated the work of the enterprise as a whole. I can definitely recommend this decision to colleagues,
