2024: Start of Sales

In mid-July 2024, sales of the world's first sunglasses began, changing the color of lenses with one touch. The American manufacturer of glasses Chamelo has released two revolutionary products at once - lenses that change color, and lenses with an adjustable tone.

Prismatic's new color-changing lenses allow owners to easily switch between four different colors with one touch. Their other product is Dusk, the world's first lens that can change hue in less than 0.1 seconds. Users can control the shade of lenses using touch controls, a slider or app, as well as configure automatic shade changes. Chamelo claims Dusk lenses change hue 1,800 times faster than photochromic glasses.

Dusk's adjustable lenses were designed to adapt to the user's environment and lifestyle and allow the glasses to maintain a neutral black color. Unlike photochromic glasses, Dusk gives the user complete control over color according to light sensitivity and personal preferences, the company said. Chamelo claims the lenses are made of light materials and are suitable for all weather conditions. Thanks to IPX4 water and sweat protection, these glasses can be used in all activities: from training to hiking in the rain.

In August, Chamelo plans to release a limited edition 1970s-style Euphoria glasses, whose warm transparent lenses are capable of changing color to yellow, orange and pink, and Aura's rimless lens series will offer more understated shades: cold transparent, blue, purple and ruby.[1]
