2024: Use in traffic police cameras
In Russia, road cameras have received updated Spider software, which works on the basis of neural networks and computer vision technologies. This became known in July 2024. The new development of the NPO group of companies "ITS" is capable of recognizing 20 types of traffic violations (SDA) at once.

Spider software successfully passed the audit of the Ministry of Digital Development and was included in the unified register of Russian programs in the main class "Monitoring and Control Tools," as well as additional classes "Image Processing, Analysis and Recognition Tools" and "Geo-Information and Navigation Tools (GIS)." The solution allows you to recognize state registration plates of vehicles with high accuracy and search for them using connected search databases.
In total, Spider software is able to record more than 20 different types of traffic violations, including violation of the established speed of movement, travel to the prohibiting traffic light signal, failure to comply with traffic rules before turning right, left or turning, driving along the shoulders or lane for route vehicles, traffic violations when passing level crossings and others. In addition to photo and video recording of traffic violations, a digital solution from the NPO group of companies "ITS" can be used to determine the parameters of the transport flow and has the function of radar measuring the speed of movement. Deliveries to the regions of the SPIDER complexes under the control of Spider software will begin in 2024.[1]
