The developer of marine solutions, which is part of the Sitronics Group, won the competition of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Hydrographic Enterprise" for the supply of equipment. The delivered KKS will replace the equipment that has expired. Sitronics announced this on July 16, 2024.

Based on the results of the technical examination of the equipment of the operating KCS of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Hydrographic Enterprise" located in the water area of the Northern Sea Route (NSR), conclusions were obtained on the current state and operability of the KCS. The equipment has served the established service life and needs to be replaced and modernized.

To replace the KKS equipment that has served its service life at Cape Sterligov Sitronics KT , it will supply equipment of its own designed control and correction station. " AQUA-Station-M The equipment is designed to provide a high-precision mode navigation by transmitting differential GNSS corrections to ships/by GLONASSGPS means of medium-wave beacons operating in the frequency range of 283.5-325.0 kHz in the format determined by the international standard RTCM SC-104. The range of action of the provision of differential corrections in the area of ​ ​ operation of the KKS is from 250 to 300 kilometers.

Cape Sterligova is located in the Kara Sea on the western shore of the Taimyr Peninsula. The polar hydrometeorological station of the same name is located there and where since 2012 there has been a control and correction station, the equipment of which was previously also manufactured and installed by Sitronics KT specialists.
