Education

In 2001 he graduated from the Higher College of Communications, in 2004 - the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radio Electronics, and in 2012 - the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Career

2024: Appointment as CEO of Beltelecom

Alexei Ivashkin on July 10, 2024 was appointed the new general director of the republican unitary enterprise Beltelecom, the largest telecom operator in Belarus. Previously, he headed the republican unitary enterprise for supervision of telecommunications "BelGIE."

The Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Konstantin Shulgan personally introduced the new head to the staff of the enterprise. The head of the department expressed confidence in the successful work of Alexei Ivashkin in the new post, noting his fundamental education, technical knowledge, experience in international activities and a deep understanding of the development of the industry.

Konstantin Shulgan stressed that Beltelecom faces important strategic tasks. In particular, the company needs to transform into a multidisciplinary operator, become an integrator of digital solutions for the economy and the population, as well as actively master new areas such as artificial intelligence, big data, smart city technologies and mobile communications.

Alexey Ivashkin, in turn, turned to the company's staff, noting the high potential of Beltelecom as one of the leading telecom operators in Europe. The new CEO expressed confidence that the well-coordinated work of the team will allow not only to maintain leadership positions, but also to increase the efficiency, authority and image of the company.
