The Omega-C plant specializes in the production of food fish oils with an Omega-3 concentration of more than 30% and reesterified triglycerides with a concentration of over 60%. In addition, the company produces veterinary fish oil for aquaculture and pet food. The total production is 2,200 tons per year, of which 2,000 tons are refined fat and 200 tons are reesterified.

Mikhail Mishustin stressed the importance of this project not only for the regional economy, but also for the country's health care as a whole. The products of the plant play a significant role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and are used in the production of drugs.

The Governor of the Magadan Region, Sergei Nosov, noted that the launch of the Omega-Si plant contributed to the creation of 30 new jobs in the region. This is of particular importance for the development of the local labor market and increasing the level of employment of the population.

The products of the Magadan enterprise are focused both on the domestic market of Russia and on export. The high quality of the produced fish oil has already been confirmed by laboratory studies in Moscow.

The Omega-Si plant is located on the coastline of Nagaev Bay, where the construction of the Maritime Tourist Center is planned in the future. This project is intended to become part of the updated sea facade of Magadan and attract an additional flow of tourists to the region.

Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexei Chekunkov assured that the financing model for the maritime tourist center will be finalized in the near future. The implementation of this large-scale project will open Magadan to tourists from all over the world and significantly increase the investment attractiveness of the region.[1]
