According to RIA Novosti, the case against Pyotr Vrublevsky was initiated for extortion as part of an organized group (paragraph "a" of part 3 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). He could face a sentence of up to 15 years in prison. At the same time, the Izvestia newspaper reports that the young man was arrested in absentia on charges of deliberately destroying someone else's property (part 2 of article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). His name also appears in criminal arson cases and a promotion for a major darknet drug marketplace.

In particular, as they say, law enforcement officers detained a previously convicted 20-year-old native of the Stavropol Territory. According to the case file, in January and October 2023, he set fire to Audi RS Q8 and Mersedes-Benz GLE cars belonging to a resident of the Potapovo village in New Moscow. According to the arsonist, he received an order for crimes from Pyotr Vrublevsky.

The Izvestia newspaper also reports that Vrublevsky Jr. gained fame among users of darknet resources as an alleged arms and power dealer. In addition, the 20-year-old owner of the sports BMW M4 accused Vrublevsky of setting fire to his car. The performer turned out to be a 16-year-old native of the Luhansk region, who was detained by the police. Later, the victim in the case also complained to the police about extortion, in which he also suspects Vrublevsky.[1]
