2024: Opening a breadcrumbs plant for 2.7 billion rubles

In July 2024, a new plant for the production of breadcrumbs was opened in the Kaliningrad region. Investments in the project implemented by the Atlantis Group of Companies amounted to ₽2,7 billion.

According to the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region, the production capacity of the new enterprise will allow the production of up to 37 thousand tons of crackers annually. The plant is equipped with modern equipment capable of producing 7500 kg of breadcrumbs per hour, which will ensure high efficiency of the production process.

Acting Governor of the Kaliningrad Region Alexei Bezprozvannykh, who took part in the opening ceremony, emphasized the importance of the project for the development of the region's food industry. He noted that the launch of new production will create 384 jobs, which will positively affect the standard of living and well-being of residents of nearby territories.

Atlantis Group of Companies, which is one of the largest producers of frozen semi-finished products in Russia and a supplier of federal fast food chains, considers the new plant as a key element in ensuring its own needs for breadcrumbs. This will significantly reduce the costs of the enterprise and guarantee the uninterrupted operation of other production sites of the holding.

Director of Atlantis Group Dhanajai Bhagat announced the company's desire to maximize its production with raw materials produced in the Kaliningrad region.

The opening of a plant for the production of breadcrumbs is not the only project of the Atlantis Group of Companies in the region. The company plans to further expand its presence in the Kaliningrad region. In the second half of 2024, the holding intends to commission a factory for the production of French fries and potato pancakes, as well as a milk processing enterprise, which will specialize in the production of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, milkshakes and soft ice cream.^[1]
