2022: Implementation of Primo RPA

The project to robotize processes in the Ural Bank for Reconstruction and Development (UBRD) began in 2022, when the bank faced the need to replace Western RPA solutions. The bank chose the Primo RPA platform to migrate from the UiPath platform and further expand robotization. The main objective of the project was to increase the efficiency of back-office processes by reducing the time for routine operations, minimizing errors and improving the accuracy of work.

One of the key areas of robotization was working with an electronic archive, where the time to check the entire archive was reduced from 6 months to 2 weeks thanks to the use of robots. Also, robots were introduced to automatically track updates on various sites, which made it possible to speed up data acquisition. During the migration process, platform performance was improved, reducing the number of robots needed.

The introduction of robots made it possible to automate the placement of information on the regulator's website, the transfer of data from one program to another and the integration of old systems with new software. The project brought significant economic benefits, including a total savings of 96 million rubles over 4 years and a 30-100% reduction in the execution time of robotic processes. UBRD plans to cover up to 200 processes by robotics by 2025, continuing to optimize and support existing solutions.
