2023: Implementation of Primo RPA

The pilot project of robotization at the ДОМ.РФ Bank was the processing of foreign trade contracts. To implement this project, it was necessary to use several information systems, ensure the ability to recognize and classify documents, as well as apply machine vision technologies.

The process of processing foreign trade contracts at the bank includes several stages: customers submit applications with a set of documents for registration of contracts. Each application is checked by the currency controller, who determines the type and currency of the contract, the amount of obligations, the details of the non-resident, checks the availability of the necessary seals and signatures. This process took about 40 minutes per application.

When the number of contracts increased, existing specialists did not have time to carry out the process in accordance with the SLA. After comparing the costs of automation, robotization and manual labor, the Bank's IT department decided to introduce software robots. At the first stage, the bank's specialists analyzed the Russian market for RPA solutions and chose the Primo RPA platform. The final stage was a competition that compared decisions on more than 100 criteria.

Robots were introduced to automate the processing of foreign trade contracts, which significantly reduced processing time and increased accuracy. The robotization process used document character recognition (OCR), text understanding (NLP), and computer vision modules to work remotely with the interface.

The Primo RPA solution allowed the bank to ДОМ.РФ automate complex processes, reduce errors and costs, and improve the security and speed of customer service. Thanks to the introduction of robots, the bank was able to cope with the increased volume of contracts, ensuring high quality and speed of processing applications.
