2024: Implementation of "1C:ERP Enterprise Management"

First Bit completed the introduction of the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management system for DVPO Voskhod JSC, a manufacturer of industrial explosives in Eastern Siberia and the Far East. This "First Bit" reported on August 5, 2024.

The goal of the project was to centralize accounting by transferring disparate business processes into one single information system. For the high-quality implementation of the project and maintaining very tight deadlines, project teams were formed on both sides in areas of activity with the necessary competencies - both from the "First Bit" and from the "DVPO" Voskhod. Thanks to the well-coordinated work of the First Bit specialists, in the shortest possible time, all financial and economic operations of DVPO Voskhod were transferred to a single information system as soon as possible. The item guide was also normalized - all items are reduced to a uniform and standard form, double records are deleted. Now the plant management has available correct information about the results of its work, including detailed and operational analytical reports, - said Alexander Nikolaevich Zakharov, First Deputy General Director of DVPO Voskhod JSC.

The "First Bit" noted that automation helped to distinguish the functionality of a single 1C:ERP system between the sales department, the procurement department, accounting and warehouse. In addition to the typical capabilities of the system, the IT integrator team has adapted the solution to unique customer business processes.

Thus, during the project, a joint decision was made to redo the functionality of price formation and amount when implementing the nomenclature, since due to the specifics of working with clients, the typical mechanism did not suit the client. Now the new pricing process affects only a certain list of items with the ability to expand it without the participation of a programmer.

The regulatory reference information (NSI) generation process was also revised to maintain its relevance. The purchasing department, not the accounting department, now decides to create the item. As a result of such delimitation, each item is created individually and the probability of forming an incorrect or duplicate item is reduced to a minimum percentage.

After the implementation of the 1C:ERP, the average processing time of orders by plant employees accelerated by 30%. The integration of all departments in a single information space made it possible to reduce labor costs for processes that include interaction between departments. The use of paper documents was reduced to a minimum, and the production process was completely transferred from "paper" to electronic format, "said Yuri Bytsura, head of the First Bit project group.

In addition to transferring work to a single system, normalizing NSI and creating analytical reports for management, the project implemented full control of current warehouse balances.

In the future, First Bit and DVPO Voskhod plan to continue fruitful cooperation and introduce the 1C: Document Flow system into the work of the enterprise to automate the exchange of service documents. 1C: Document Flow is planned to be synchronized with 1C: ERP so that all information is stored in a single system.
