"De Lage Landen Leasing" continues development of the automation system of accounting

The Homnet Leasing company completed the first stage of the project of creation of an information system on the basis of the solution "Homnet Leasing 8" in "De Lage Landen Leasing" company.

Prerequisites

Use of the accounting accounting program and the tables MS Excel ceased to meet requirements of the company over time — the low functionality and capacity of the being available automation equipment caused considerable labor costs when processing of the growing amount of data and obtaining the reporting. Many transactions were made manually or were automated only partially. Therefore the company management of DLL Leasing made the decision on the beginning of the project on implementation of the specialized information management system.

Priorities

Its possibilities of automation of key business processes and compatibility with the accounting program used earlier (1C: Accounting 7.7) were the main selection terms of a system. After the analysis of offers in the Russian market of automation of leasing preference was given to the solution "Homnet Leasing 8.

Solution

During the project specialists Homnet Leasing implemented functional unit of accounting of the standard software product "Homnet Leasing 8", made data transfer from the 1C: Accounting 7.7 program used earlier, provided training of staff of DLL Leasing company in work in a new system.

Result

Automation of department of accounting of DLL Leasing company allowed:

• To automatically create documents of charge of implementations and invoices.
• Keep account of objects of leasing in accounting and tax accounting.
• Automate accounting of objects of leasing on balance of the lessee.
• The report on charge of a penalty fee on overdue payments is developed.

Objectives

On September 21, 2012 the developer company reported in the corporate blog about expansions of functionality of the end-to-end information system "Homnet Leasing 8" within which project implementation of the module "Homnet Leasing Management of Insurance" is complete.

Tasks and plans

Main objectives of implementation of the standard module "Homnet Leasing Management of Insurance" of the information system "Homnet Leasing 8" became: automation of activities of employees for insurance of leasing property and automation of operations with insurance policies in regulated accounting.

Within the project are automated by specialists of integrator:

• process of preparation of orders to insurance;
• accounting of settlement with insurance companies both on insurance premiums, and on insurance indemnities;
• accounting of all possible deviations according to policies with a possibility of reflection of changes in a system: insured events and their settlement, partial leaving of objects of leasing, early closing of policies;
• reflection of operations with insurance policies in accounting and tax accounting.
