2024: Opening of a paint factory in Chechnya
In the Chechen Republic in July 2024, a new paint factory was opened in the city of Urus-Martan. The company, built by Laurus-Kavkaz LLC, has a production capacity of 400 tons of products per month.
Minister of Industry and Trade of the Chechen Republic Tamerlan Khuchiev announced the launch of a new industrial facility. The plant specializes in the production of paints, primers and internal decorative plaster.
The production area of the new enterprise is 1,500 square meters. The plant is equipped with modern equipment that allows producing high-quality products that are not inferior to foreign counterparts. When designing production facilities, the possibility of installing additional equipment was taken into account, which will make it possible to double the production capacity in the future.
The opening of the plant contributed to the creation of 20 new jobs in Urus-Martan. The company's management plans to expand its staff to 35 people in the near future, which will positively affect the socio-economic situation in the region.
The implementation of this investment project is of strategic importance for the economy of the Chechen Republic. It is expected that the functioning of the new plant will lead to an increase in revenues to the consolidated budget of the region. In addition, the company will provide the needs of not only the Chechen Republic, but also neighboring regions in high-quality paint and varnish products.
The new plant of LLC Laurus-Kavkaz is equipped with modern quality control systems, which guarantees compliance of the products with high standards. This will allow the company to successfully compete with leading manufacturers of paints and varnishes on the Russian market.[1]
