The system was developed by RKS specialists on the basis of the 1C:ERP platform operating in the company and is a stage of a large-scale system project for the transition of the instrument-making holding to mass production of equipment. At the first stage of the project implementation, data on the utilization of production facilities at the enterprises of the Russian Space Systems are collected, summarized and consolidated. The result will make it possible to control the workload of production sites in real time, the innovation will also open up additional opportunities for a more efficient redistribution of the load, taking into account the tasks of the entire holding.

In the future, the system is planned to be scaled up by integrating specialized software systems built on the principles of the Internet of Things (IoT) into it. Each machine, production line and workplace will be combined into a single information ecosystem. This will make it possible to monitor and analyze the work of the companies included in the holding, reduce the downtime of equipment, ensure the release of products within a given time frame and with a high level of quality.

As of August 2024, the new digital system has already been deployed and is being worked out at two enterprises included in the RKS instrument-making holding.
