2024: Cloud Video service launch

Yandex Cloud has launched a video storage, processing and streaming service, Cloud Video. The company announced this on August 21, 2024.

With its help, companies will be able, for example:

• embed product reviews and reviews on sites or web applications,
• post educational content on LMS platforms,
• conduct online broadcasts for hundreds of thousands of viewers with minimal delay.

In Cloud Video, the company can independently control access to content (for example, provide video only for corporate use within the organization), as well as analyze user viewing statistics and visualize data in the Yandex DataLens service.

The service for August 2024 is already available free of charge in technical testing mode and is provided to a limited number of users on demand.

All content uploaded to Cloud Video is stored in secure scalable storage, we provide the ability to integrate with other Yandex Cloud services. To develop the technology, specialists used the storage and processing platform large amounts of data YTsaurus DBMS and Yandex Managed Service for ClickHouse and their own S3 storage.
