2024: Resort Construction

In early August 2024, it became known about a large-scale investment project in Karachay-Cherkessia. Investment and construction holding "Samson" has begun to create a new resort "Lunnaya Polyana" on the territory of the special economic zone (SEZ) "Arkhyz." The volume of investments in the project will be about ₽30 billion by 2036.

On the territory of the resort it is planned to build five-star hotels with the Ski-in & Ski-out system, which allows guests to ski right from the hotel doors. In addition, the project provides for the construction of a four-star hotel complex and villas to accommodate tourists.

The project pays special attention to the development of health infrastructure. A local medical cluster with a recovery center for athletes, thermal springs and a bath complex with open pools will appear on the territory of Lunnaya Polyana. An artificial lake will be created for lovers of water procedures.

The resort's infrastructure will also include a shopping promenade with shops, coffee shops and restaurants, which will provide comfortable rest and leisure for guests of Lunnaya Polyana.

In addition to the construction of a new resort, the Samson holding is actively engaged in updating the existing infrastructure of the Arkhyz SEZ. In early May 2024, the company began renovating the Romantic hotel complex, located in the center of the resort area. It is planned that at the end of 2024, two updated hotels of the complex will again receive visitors.

Tatyana Fomenko, General Director of Samson Group of Companies, emphasized the importance of creating infrastructure for improving and fully using the natural potential of the location.

We plan to create a place where high-quality medicine is combined with a high-class hotel service and sports infrastructure, "she said.[1]
