2024: Appointment as CEO of Tavros Agricultural Holding

On August 22, 2024, it became known that a new general director was appointed in the Bashkir agricultural holding Tavros. Businessman Elena Lazarenko, who held this position, lost her place to Konstantin Beldyushkin, a native of Rusagro and Syngenta.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, Beldyushkin took over as general director of Tavros Management Company LLC, the head structure of the Tavros agricultural holding. She is the founder of 20 legal entities related to the assets of the enterprise. In 2009-2018, Beldyushkin acted as a top manager of the Rusagro group, and in 2020 he headed the Russian division of Syngenta, a foreign company specializing in the production of plant protection products and seeds. In Tavros, Beldyushkin will focus on operational activities.

In turn, Lazarenko will remain in the agricultural holding, focusing on promising areas of development. As of August 2024, the main owner of the organization is Rustem Mirgalimov: he owns almost 81% in Tavros Management Company LLC. The owner of the remaining stake is ZPIF Agro Capital. Lazarenko has been working with Mirgalimov since the 2010s, when she acted as the general director of the Razgulyai holding previously associated with him. After that, she became one of the co-owners of the Tavros structures.

Elena Ustyugova, senior partner of the NEO consulting company, believes that the involvement of a new general director from the outside may indicate "the company's need to move to a different level of building corporate governance and operational processes." In particular, we can talk about an initial public offering (IPO). Such a scenario calls realistic and senior analyst Gazprombank Marat Ibragimov. According to him, the IPO allows you to raise funds, additionally motivate and retain staff through dividend policy, as well as reduce the cost of borrowed financing.[1]
