2024: Use in the RWT area

The Russian army is actively using the Courier ground robotic systems (NRTK), equipped with various types of weapons, including grenade launchers and missile systems. This became known in August 2024. These combat robots were successfully tested in the zone of a special military operation and showed high efficiency in real combat conditions.

According to Rossiyskaya Gazeta, NRTK Courier is a universal tracked platform capable of carrying a wide range of weapons and equipment. The complex can be equipped with automatic grenade launchers AGS-17 and AGS-30, rocket-propelled anti-tank grenade launchers, anti-tank missile systems, heavy machine guns NSVT or Kord, as well as rocket flamethrowers RPO "Bumblebee."

Robotic complex "Courier"

The Courier is powered by 6 kW electric motors, which allows it to reach speeds of up to 35 km/h. The battery life of the robot ranges from 12 to 72 hours, depending on the load and operating conditions. The complex is able to overcome complex terrain, including mountainous terrain, forests and wetlands.

NRTC control is carried out remotely at a distance of up to 10 km, which ensures the safety of operators. In addition, the Courier can be equipped with electronic warfare systems to suppress enemy communications and electronic systems.

The complex has already passed a combat run-in in the Avdeevsky direction, where the Courier group successfully supported the actions of assault units, firing several hundred grenades at enemy positions.

The modular design of the Courier allows you to install various types of weapons and equipment on it, depending on the tasks performed. In addition to combat applications, the robot can be used for reconnaissance, delivery of goods and evacuation of wounded.[1]
