2024: Generative Wallpaper Refrigerator Announcement

At the end of August 2024, Samsung introduced refrigerators with Generative Wallpaper, which allows users to create their own wallpaper. This feature is realized thanks to the implementation of algorithms based on artificial intelligence.

To generate a unique image, you must select your preferred theme from the seven available categories and set one of the six art styles. After that, the system will create wallpapers that can be displayed on the refrigerator display or saved in the album for later use. The function requires a connection to a Wi-Fi network. At the same time, users will be able to generate up to five wallpapers per day.

The new option will be available on fridges such as Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub +. This model is equipped with a 32-inch frameless screen with FHD resolution, which is almost twice as large as previous devices. The refrigerator uses Family Hub software. The Samsung TV Plus platform offers a large number of free channels, and integration with Google Photos turns the screen into a digital photo frame that makes it easier to view and share photos. Thanks to the larger display and the new picture-in-picture (PIP) feature of the Samsung TV Plus platform, users can watch their favorite TV shows while checking and monitoring the condition of other kitchen appliances, as well as making sure they cook in the kitchen.

In addition, an improved Bixby voice assistant will appear on the refrigerators. It will be able to understand complex commands, remember previous conversations and answer troubleshooting questions. When an error code is displayed on the device screen, users can turn to Bixby and ask what this means, instead of looking for information in the operating manual or calling the call center.^[1]
