Holding "Autobahn" acquired the company "Urengoydorstroy" for billions of rubles

Avtoban is one of the leaders in the Russian road construction market. The company is engaged in the design, engineering and operation of roads, as well as participates in investments in public-private projects. Among its key projects is the construction of sections of the Central Ring Road (TsKAD), the Don M-4 routes, the Moscow-St. Petersburg M-11 and several others.

As for Urengoydorstroy, the company was founded in 1977 and has established itself as a large contractor in the north-west of Russia. It participates in the construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure, including roads, highways, runways and airfields. Among its largest projects are the reconstruction of the airport airfield in Novy Urengoy, as well as the construction of transport interchanges in the Yamalo-Nenets district. Urengoydorstroy has five production bases and asphalt concrete plants, which makes it a key player in the region. The main owner of the company is businessman Alexander Ryskov, who owns a controlling stake.

Mikhail Blinkin, Director of the Institute for Transport Policy at the Higher School of Economics, stressed that the Avtoban holding already occupies key positions in the Russian road construction market and is actively developing its projects in Siberia. The purchase of Urengoydorstroy will allow synergistically using the resources of both companies, strengthening their position in the market and increasing competitiveness.[1]
