2024: P20 Pro Model Announcement

At the end of August 2024, Roborock released the world's first P20 Pro robot vacuum cleaner capable of climbing stairs. In addition, the new robot has extremely high suction power, is equipped with optimized brushes that prevent tangling of threads and hair, and an improved carpet cleaning function.

The Roborock P20 Pro robot vacuum cleaner is available for pre-order in China, and will hit stores around September 15. According to the manufacturer, the P20 Pro model provides suction power up to 18,500 Pa, which is significantly more than 10,000 Pa for the older model. Thanks to the mechanism with a double roller brush and a side brush, the new vacuum cleaner is able to remove lint, wool and hair, preventing tangling. Like other models, the P20 Pro features a FlexiArm mop rotating 200 times a minute to help the robot vacuum cleaner tidy up the corners and edges of the room. The robot vacuum cleaner also features new carpet cleaning features suitable for lint of different lengths and other fabrics.

AdaptiLift's retractable chassis allows the robot vacuum cleaner to overcome obstacles up to 4 cm high, thanks to which the model is able to climb stairs, and the Self Cleaning 2.0 system allows wet cleaning without the help of hands: the robot vacuum cleaner can wash the floors with hot water (75 ° C), walk scrapers and dry the cleaned area with hot air (45 ° C). You can control the robot vacuum cleaner through the Roborock application or using voice commands thanks to the RRmind GPT system, which uses AI to more naturally interact with the user. The device is equipped with a 6400mAh battery, which should be enough to clean a large apartment, and uses the LDS navigation system^[1] obstacle avoidance function^[2]
