JSC Broadcasting Company St. Petersburg implements software of management of finance - 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8.

In anticipation of the project

The financial service of the company prepared budgets in spreadsheets that was rather labor-intensive process. However, when in 2008 the company was included into National Media Group Ltd media holding, requirements to financial statements, efficiency of its providing, depth of analytics and variability increased so that it became clear – without implementation of a serious system for management of finance of need of the management of holding for reporting information it will be difficult to satisfy. Besides, when customers and consumers of financial information are outside the company (parent organization, shareholders, etc.), requirements can exchange at any time and in any key; and how requirements to information will change, is poorly predicted.

In these conditions the decision on implementation in the company of the complete solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" which allows to organize management and accounting at the enterprise in uniform base (budgeting, the regulated and operational accounting) was made, at the expense of what need of repeated data entry is excluded.

As the partner in the project SoftBalance Group was selected.

About the Project

JSC Broadcasting Company St. Petersburg "5th channel" together with SoftBalance group completed implementation of the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 software product.

A system allowed to organize maintaining managerial, accounting and tax accounting in uniform information base. Integrated management of finance is organized. The management has an opportunity to obtain financial information in any necessary kind and to manage costs in the real time mode. 51 workplaces are automated.

Implementation

During implementation the following works were performed:

  • Maintaining managerial, accounting and tax accounting in uniform information base is organized;
  • The budgeting subsystem for formation of financial budgets in 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 is configured, sources of obtaining actual data are configured;
  • Data exchange about deferred expenses between software "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" and the program used in management company is configured. Automatic exchange simplifies accounting and also reduces risk of emergence of the errors of input of primary information in the program of management company connected with a human factor;
  • Training is provided.

A system provides following features:

  • Exercise internal financial control. Services of internal control:
  • monitor efficiency and expediency of monetary costs of both own, and borrowed funds;
  • analyze and compare the actual financial results with predicted;
  • control a financial status of the enterprise.
  • In real time to plan ensuring business activities with financial resources and to exercise control of efficiency of their use;
  • Analyze financial results and a financial status of the enterprise.

Result

In a project deliverable the management of JSC Teleradiokompanii Peterburg received the single centralized information system of corporate accounting, the reporting and planning allowing to consolidate planned and accounting information that allows to make more weighed management decisions. At the same time processes on treatment of data and preparation of the reporting considerably became simpler that released temporary resources of executives in charge and also there was an opportunity to receive and issue financial information in any convenient kind and a section for needs of management company that is the most important plus from implementation. The staff of JSC Teleradiokompanii Peterburg spends for formation of one report no more than 10 seconds while earlier on it not less than one day left.
