FGU Rosgranstroy implements a set of measures necessary to organize border, customs and other types of control at checkpoints and places of crossing the state border of the Russian Federation, as well as to exercise powers by federal executive authorities in the field of protecting and protecting the state border of the Russian Federation.

By order of Rosgranitsa, the state customer-coordinator of the federal target program "State Border of the Russian Federation (2003 − 2010)," dated March 26, 2009, No. 44 of the Federal State Institution of Rosgranstroy was determined by the customer-developer for the facilities of Rosgranitsa.

The main goals of the activities of the Federal State Institution of Rosgranstroy are to create a new look of checkpoints, ensure their uninterrupted functioning, equip checkpoints with modern technological means and systems aimed at increasing the level of security of the state border, increasing the capacity of checkpoints, and developing border infrastructure.
