2024: Agreement on the construction of a data center

The parties to the agreement were represented by Mikhail Oseevsky, General Director of Rostelecom, Andrey Kartashov, Vice President of Rostelecom, Konstantin Stepanov, Development Director of RTK-DPC, and Sergey Skaliy, Deputy General Director of Far East and Arctic Development Corporation JSC.

The data center project includes 4 turbine halls with a total capacity of 440 racks and a supplied capacity of 4 MW. The design of the facility will begin in 2025, and commissioning is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027. The data center will meet the TIER III security level, which ensures uninterrupted operation of all vital engineering infrastructure systems. The volume of investments in the project will amount to 1.4 billion rubles.

The site in the Far East is one of the main strategic facilities for us. This is the first large project in the region that will provide local businesses and authorities with reliable infrastructure. We are glad that the data center will be built jointly with the KRDV, and we see great potential in it. The development of infrastructure, including communication systems, is one of the priorities of the global task set by the President of the Russian Federation for the advanced development of the Far East. The construction of this data center will improve the quality of data processing services not only in the Khabarovsk Territory, but also in other regions of the Far East. The implementation of the project using the TOR preferential regime will allow the investor to use a large set of support tools, including the right to receive a land plot without bidding and significant tax benefits and administrative support, - said Sergey Skaliy, Deputy General Director of the KRDV for support of investment projects.
