2024: Launching

In August 2024, it became known about the launch in Russia of the first walking and excursion vessel operating on hydrogen fuel. This unique vessel was built at the Zelenodolsk Gorky Plant, and its solemn ceremony took place in Zelenodolsk.

According to Business Online, the ship under design number 00393 is the first prototype developed for hydrogen fuel operation. Its length exceeds 15 meters, and its width is more than 3 meters. The vessel is designed for 10 passengers and two crew members. It is capable of moving at speeds up to 12 km/h and being on the water for up to five hours without refueling. Despite the solemn event, the ship was already launched before the official ceremony began, which somewhat simplified the presentation of the process itself.
