Alrosa goes to the WorksPad application

2024: WorksPad Implementation Plan

ALROSA decided to introduce the WorksPad application, developed by RuPost, to create mobile jobs for its employees. Astra Group announced this on September 17, 2024.

WorksPad is an application container for secure mobile work: mail, calendars, address books, working with files and documents, access to network storage, an enterprise browser , etc.

ALROSA specialists IT (part of ALROSA) chose software for smartphones 39 parameters, the main of which are, information security from, information protection leaks convenience for users, increased mobility of employees, implementation of development policies for the RUSSIAN FEDERATION use of products independent of imports, maturity and its ON use in major domestic companies.

WorksPad has already been tested, ALROSA intends to use the potential of the RuPost IT product to further develop its mobile solutions and increase operational efficiency.

WorksPad provides ALROSA employees with a full set of office tools in a single secure content-superapp on mobile devices, which increases the mobility and productivity of employees, reduces information security risks, including the alienation of corporate information, - said Vadim Zheltukhin, Information Technology Director of ALROSA AK (PJSC).

An agreement on long-term cooperation was concluded between ALROSA and Astra Group. The companies agreed to adapt the Astra Group solution stack to specialized commercial digital services and ALROSA platforms. This will help increase the level of manufacturability of partner software and the efficiency of its implementation in Russian IT infrastructure for business.
