2024: Accreditation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade

At the end of September 2024, it became known about the implementation Udmurtia in a major project to create a research and production center (SPC) for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles (). UAV According to the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic Olga Abramova, the center received accreditation from Ministries of Industry and Trade Russia and will become one of 10 such centers in the country. ₽1 billion will be allocated for the equipment and development of the center, of which ₽858 million will come from the federal budget as part of the national project for the development of unmanned aircraft systems.

According to Kommersant, the NPC Square is 2.5 thousand square meters. m, and from 50 to 70 employees will be involved in it. The main specialization of the center will be the production of engines for drones, which will be an important step in the development of unmanned technologies in the region. The SPC will include about 15 residents, including the leading universities in the region - Izhevsk State Technical University named after M.T. Kalashnikov (IzhSTU) and Udmurt State University (UdSU), as well as large industrial enterprises.

In Udmurtia, a
center for the production of drones was created for 1 billion rubles

A test site will be created on the basis of the center, where new UAV models will be tested. The landfill will also serve as a platform for drone certification, which is extremely important for domestic manufacturers, since drone certification is one of the weak links in the current system. Olga Abramova noted that the landfill will improve the process of developing and testing new models, as well as expand production opportunities.

Within the framework of the project, the supply of the necessary equipment has already begun. A list of 70 items has been formed that will ensure a full cycle of drone production, from prototyping to serial production. The research and production center in Udmurtia will become an important link in the development of the domestic industry of unmanned systems, allowing the creation and testing of high-tech samples focused on both civil and industrial use.[1]
