2024: Modernization of sewage treatment facilities in Ermolino

Helyx, a resident of Skolkovo (ВЭБ.РФ Group), has completed a project to upgrade sewage treatment facilities in Ermolino, Kaluga Region. As a result of the reconstruction, the facility's capacity increased from 10,000 to 20,000 cubic meters per day, which made it possible to significantly optimize the operation of the purification system. This was announced on September 30, 2024 by representatives of Skolkovo.

The Company supplied and installed equipment, carried out commissioning works, as well as installation and adjustment of instrumentation.

As noted, within the framework of the project, advanced wastewater treatment technologies were introduced. To remove large mechanical impurities, Helyx used rake grids and sand traps. An ovicidal dosing station was also installed to disinfect wastewater sludge, which eliminates the need for repeated disinfection.

To improve the efficiency of biological purification, polymer loading cassettes were installed. In addition, new submersible pumps and flow meters have optimized the processes of pumping and accounting for sediment. The final stage of cleaning was the installation of an ultraviolet sterilizer for additional disinfection of water before discharge into the Protva River.
