The main directions of the national project, according to State Duma deputy Ilya Wolfson, include the integrated development of 2 thousand support settlements throughout the country, measures for housing and road construction, the formation of more comfortable conditions for citizens to live, the modernization of housing and communal services and the provision of modern public transport.

Particular attention will be paid to the balance between the needs of residents, the load on existing infrastructure and the construction of new facilities. It is planned to legislate the concept of a master plan and the procedure for its development, taking into account existing documents.

One of the key objectives of the project will be to reduce the investment and construction cycle. In addition, the standards for the construction of social facilities will be revised, taking into account modern realities and forecasts of social dynamics.

In the field of housing and communal services, it is planned to increase the profitability of work while increasing responsibility to residents. The head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting of the Commission of the State Council of Russia stressed the need to find new tools to ensure a stable effective demand for housing.[1]
