The Peugeot and Mitsubishi producer in Russia decided to use 1C for payroll calculation and personnel records, and SAP - for other control functions by the enterprise. The typical scheme for the Russian enterprise with foreign owners.
The PSMA Rus plant, the Russian producer of the Peugeot and Mitsubishi cars, completed an implementation project of a personnel management system (HRM) "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8". The project was executed by Microtest company.
"PSMA Rus" is joint venture of two world giants of automotive industry: Peugeot Citroën and Mittsubisi Motors. Start of production took place less than a year ago - spring of 2010. The enterprise is located in 20 km from Kaluga. Capacity of plant at an initial stage is 140 machines a day‚ as much as possible – 125 thousand cars a year.
At the time of opening more than 300 people worked at the plant. And by 2012 the number of staff of the company is going to be increased up to 3.5 thousand people. It is quite logical that management of such number of employees required an information system.
According to TAdviser, for resource management of the PSMA Rus enterprise already uses several modules ERP systems of SAP. Why as a HRM system the 1C was selected though SAP has a functionality in this area and what other platforms were considered, in PSMA Rus did not comment.
Though the answer to this question partially contains in official release about project completion. "At implementation it was necessary to provide observance of corporate standards of work and at the same time requirements of the Russian legislation regarding personnel management", said in it. 1C traditionally is considered the platform which is the most adequately reflecting local precepts of law.
As at the time of start of 1C project the enterprise was at a stage of active development, specialists Microtest suggested to use technology of rapid implementation which allows to receive the working solution as soon as possible. Therefore the full-fledged work in a new system began in two months.
After deployment of functionality of a system and its adaptation under corporate requirements, specialists Microtest held stress testing which confirmed a possibility of processing of large volumes of data.
A system supports payroll taking into account requirements of foreign co-owners; the regulated personnel records, time keeping in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation; management accounting of costs, statistics and data analysis on personnel according to corporate standards. The functionality of the "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" system extends in process of formation of additional requirements of the company.
