2024: Launch of a seed plant in the Kemerovo region for ₽430 million
In October 2024, the Azot group of companies commissioned the first seed production plant in the Kemerovo region. Investments in the project amounted to ₽430 million. The new enterprise is located in the village of Zvezdny, Kemerovo District.

To ensure uninterrupted operation of the seed complex, no more than 12 employees will be required. Among them are operators of the grain drying complex, machine operators, drivers of freight transport and an agronomist-seed grower. The company will operate year-round with interruptions for planned repair work in the winter.
Azot-Agro LLC was founded in 2019 as a joint project of Azot JSC and the Center for Advanced Agriculture company. Initially, the company was created as an experienced demonstration platform for developing advanced agricultural technologies and finding solutions to increase yields. The acreage of Azot-Agro is about 10 thousand hectares, including 185 hectares of the pilot production site.
According to information from the official website of the company, the yield of spring wheat in Azot-Agro reaches 73 c/ha, spring barley - 63 c/ha, rapeseed - 35 c/ha. With the launch of a new seed center, it is planned to use the available areas for seed production as much as possible.[1]
