2024: Launch of metal structures for oil and gas companies for 300 million rubles
In October 2024, a plant for the production of unique metal structures for large Russian oil and gas companies operating on the shelf of the Sea of Okhotsk began work in the Primorsky Territory. The project was implemented by the Nakhodka Ship Repair Plant (NSRZ), a resident of the free port of Vladivostok (SPV), with investments of about ₽300 million.
According TASS to the press service, Corporations for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV) the company operates on the basis of the shipyard, which made it possible to create over 800 new jobs. The shipyard, using state support mechanisms, implements various shipbuilding and ship repair projects, as well as fulfills orders in other industries.
The Nakhodka Shipyard is one of the centers for servicing oil and gas projects in the Sakhalin region. Both for the construction and repair of ships and for the manufacture of large-scale metal structures (each weighing 104 tons), which are necessary for the development of fields - they help to protect equipment for oil and gas production on the seabed. This work allows us to make a significant contribution to the growth of the country's technological sovereignty and confidently increase and more efficiently use the shipyard's capacity for the benefit of the development of the Far East, "said Sergey Starovoitov, General Director of NSRZ JSC. |
Aleksey Dunaev, Director of KRDV Primorye, stressed that tax incentives and administrative preferences available to SPV residents, along with other state support measures, services and services of KRDV, helped NSRZ implement a project to modernize the shipyard's capacity, increase and expand its order portfolio.
According to the KRDV, more than 1800 residents of the SPV are implementing investment projects in the region by October 2024, of which 471 have already been successfully commissioned. The total volume of actual investments in the economy of the region amounted to ₽446,4 billion, which made it possible to create 44.5 thousand jobs[1]
