2024: Commissioning of Infrastructure Solution

Selectel will continue to use motherboard-based servers from other manufacturers along with its own solution.

We are exploring another area of ​ ​ vertical integration and will offer our customers a new solution based on our own server platform. We know what tasks the business faces, what it focuses on, what problems it faces - and we put it in our solutions. At the same time, the server platform can be organically supplemented by its own operating system Selectel, which we plan to put into commercial operation by the end of the year.

In 2024, the company announced the development of its own server software, which will strengthen vertical integration, improve business efficiency and offer more services to customers. The operating system can be deployed on both new servers and those already in use by the client. The OS from Selectel is being developed taking into account the features of the new server platform, together they will be a single, deeply integrated and tested hardware and software complex.

In addition, the OS can be installed on user servers located outside the Selectel loop. This will become an important product solution for customers who, for a number of reasons, do not consider the IT infrastructure outsourcing model for themselves. Selectel will provide such companies with uninterrupted technical support, which is critical for customers who do not have a large IT staff. The operating system is undergoing beta testing for October 2024, Selectel plans to launch it commercially by the end of 2024.
